Playa Las Lajas

We arrived in Las Lajas after a short bus ride. When we got there we had to take a taxi to get to our hostel.  When we got there, there were hardly any people.  We came up to the counter and then we started to wait because there was no one there so we waited and waited until someone came.  We asked if there were any rooms to stay in but then she said that they were closed for a day because they had to do some construction. Then she told us some other places to go instead, so we went to one of those places and the hotel was called La Estrella del Pacifico.  We were in a little cabin with two beds and one bathroom, a table to do my homework, and finally a beautiful long clean beach.  It was the best beach ever! I never saw a beach like this one. The water was as warm as a bath but a little cooler because it was refreshing! The next day I started to collect shells because there were lots of them! At the end there were all kinds of shells! They were so cool. But when we took the sand off they were even cooler! When we went to sleep it was very hot and sweaty so we put the fan on and then we were all nice and cool.

Nous sommes arrivés à Las Lajas, après un court trajet en bus. Quand nous sommes arrivés, nous avons dû prendre un taxi pour se rendre à notre auberge. Quand nous sommes arrivés, il n'y avait pas de gens. Nous en sommes arrivés à la réception et nous avons commencé à attendre, car il n'y avait personne là-bas donc nous avons attendu et attendu jusqu’a quelqu'un est venu. Nous avons demandé s'il y avait des chambres pour rester  mais ensuite elle a dit qu'ils étaient fermés pour un jour parce qu'ils ont dû faire de la construction. Puis elle nous a dit que certains autres endroits où aller, donc nous sommes allés à l'un de ces endroits et l'hôtel s'appelait La Estrella del Pacifico. Nous étions dans une petite cabine avec deux lits et une salle de bains, un table pour faire mes devoirs, et enfin une belle plage propre. C'était la meilleure plage! Je n'ai jamais vu une plage comme celle-ci. L'eau était chaude comme une bain, mais un peu plus frais, car il était rafraîchissant! Le lendemain, j'ai commencé à ramasser des coquillages, car il y avait beaucoup! A la fin il y avait toutes sortes de coquillages! Ils étaient tellement cool. Mais quand nous avons lavez les coquillages, ils étaient encore plus cool! Quand nous sommes allés à dormir, il faisait très chaud, alors nous avons mis le ventilateur en marche et ensuite ont était bien.

Llegamos a Las Lajas después de un corto trayecto en autobús. Cuando llegamos allí tuvimos que tomar un taxi para llegar a nuestro albergue. Cuando llegamos allí, casi no había gente. Llegamos al mostrador y entonces nos pusimos a esperar porque no había nadie allí, así que esperé y esperé hasta que alguien vino. Le preguntamos si había ninguna habitación para alojarse en pero luego dijo que estaban cerrados por un día debido a que tenían que hacer alguna construcción. Entonces ella nos dijo algunos otros lugares para ir en su lugar, así que fuimos a uno de esos lugares y el hotel se llamaba La Estrella del Pacifico. Estábamos en una pequeña cabina con dos camas y un cuarto de baño, una mesa para hacer mi tarea, y por último una hermosa playa limpia plazo. Fue la mejor playa del mundo! Nunca he visto una playa como ésta. El agua estaba tan caliente como un baño, pero un poco más fresco porque era refrescante! Al día siguiente empecé a coleccionar conchas porque había un montón de ellos! Al final había todo tipo de conchas! Eran tan cool. Pero cuando tomamos la arena eran aún más genial! Cuando nos fuimos a dormir, estaba muy caliente y sudoroso así que pusimos el ventilador encendido y después todos estábamos bien y guay.
