Turrilba & Rio Pacuare

 

 

We arrived in Turrialba after another five hour bus ride. And I was also tired after that. The first thing we did here, well the first fun thing we did here, was the white water rafting! It was sooooooooo fun, there were big waves and big rocks everywhere. But there were still some places that were very calm. The worst thing about it was that the water was a bit chilly and it rained for a couple minutes. And the lunch there was very good.

 

 

Nous sommes arrivés à Turrialba après l'autre bus de cinq heures. Et j'étais aussi fatigué après. La première chose que nous avons fait ici, non, la chose amusante d'abord, nous avons fait ici, était le rafting en eau vive! C'était tres amusant, il y avait de grosses vagues et de gros rochers partout. Mais il y avait encore quelques places qui étaient très calme. La pire chose à ce sujet est que l'eau était un peu froide et il a plu pendant quelques minutes. Et le déjeuner il était très bon.

 

Llegamos en Turrialba despues otra cinco horas en el autobús. Y yo también estaba cansado después de eso. Lo primero que hicimos aquí, bueno la cosa de la diversión primero que hicimos aquí, fue el rafting! Era muuuuuy divertido, había grandes olas y rocas grandes en todas partes. Pero todavía quedaban algunos lugares que eran muy tranquilas. Lo peor de todo fue que el agua estaba un poco fría y llovió un par de minutos. Y la comida no era muy buena.

 

Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio

 



We arrived in Manuel Antonio after a five hour bus ride. I felt so tired after that! And I also felt excited, because our hotel was close to a beach. After the bus ride, we went to the hotel and dropped our stuff off, and then we went to get something to drink because we were thirsty. Then we went back to the hotel to get our bathing suits on and go to the beach! But then I realised that it started to be a long walk! And I do not like long walks. But when we got there I said to myself this was worth the walk. The beach was beautiful and I didn’t want to go back to the hotel! But I had to, so I did. When we got to the hotel I realised that my shoulders started to hurt! I had a sunburn! But it was small and that was good. So for the rest of the days at the beach I had a shirt in the water so that the sun did not get worse, but when I got changed into dry clothes, it was hard to get my wet shirt off because remember I had a sunburn.

Nous sommes arrivés à Manuel Antonio après un trajet en bus de cinq heures. Je me sentais tellement fatiguée après ça! Mais j’ai aussi sentis exité, parce que notre hôtel était pres d'une plage. Après le trajet en bus, nous sommes allés à l'hôtel et abandonné nos affaires hors tension, puis on est allé chercher quelque chose à boire, parce que nous étons soif. Puis nous sommes retournés à l'hôtel pour obtenir nos maillots de bain et allez à la plage! Mais ensuite j'ai réalisé qu'il a commencé à être une longue marche! Et je n'aime pas les longues promenades. Mais quand nous sommes arrivés là, je me suis dit que cela valait la peine. La plage était belle et je ne voulais pas retourner à l'hôtel! Quand nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel, j'ai réalisé que mes épaules ont commencé à faire du mal! J'ai eu un coup de soleil! Mais il était petit et c'était bien. Donc, pour le reste des journées à la plage j'ai eu une chemise dans l'eau de sorte que le soleil ne s'aggrave pas, mais quand je suis transformé en vêtements secs, il était difficile d'obtenir ma chemise mouillée au large car rappelez-vous que j'avais un coup de soleil.

Llegamos a Manuel Antonio después de cinco horas en autobús. Me sentí tan cansado después de eso! Y también me sentí emocionado, porque nuestro hotel estaba cerca de la playa. Después de que el viaje en autobús, nos fuimos al hotel y nos dejó nuestras cosas fuera, y luego nos fuimos a buscar algo de beber porque tonamos sed. Luego volvimos al hotel para conseguir nuestros trajes de baño y fuimos a la playa! Pero luego me di cuenta de que empezaba a ser un paseo largo! Y no me gusta largos paseos. Pero cuando llegamos allí, me dije a mí mismo que valió la pena la caminata. La playa era preciosa y yo no quería volver al hotel! Pero tenía que hacerlo, así que lo hice. Cuando llegamos al hotel, me di cuenta de que mis hombros empezaron a doler! Tuve una quemadura de sol! Pero era pequeña y que era bueno. Así que para el resto de los días en la playa que tenía una camisa en el agua para que el sol no empeorar, pero cuando nos cambiamos la ropa seca, era difícil de conseguir mi camisa mojada fuera porque recuerdo que tenía una quemadura de sol.

Monteverde Cloud Forest

We arrived in Monteverde after a bumpy dirty bus ride. I couldn’t wait to get there, but when I got out of the bus a burst of wind came. I did not know that it was going to be so windy outside! You might have thought that it was warm wind but it was cold wind, and you want to know why? It was because we were higher than we were in La Fortuna. The next day in the morning it was cold outside but not too cold. So then we kind of worried because we were going to go zip lining, but when we got there, it started to get warmer and warmer! And that was good. The first thing we did there was go zip lining. That was very fun. Oh! And also I met this girl from Sweden that was 9 years old zip lining, she was fun. I had to go the regular way because I was too light. And the last thing we did at the place was the most fun for me, it was the Tarzan swing.  First they put your equipment on, then you have to cross a wobbly bridge all the way to the end, well, all the way to the edge. It was very scary. I took some deep breaths while they were putting my equipment on. I took a couple more deep breaths, and then I jumped!!!!!!!! I was about 50 meters high, and I was planning to scream but I was too shocked to do it! But at the second swing I screamed because it was so fun! When I jumped it felt exactly like I was jumping off a cliff! I was going down so fast. Nous sommes arrivés à Monteverde après une trajet en bus sale cahoteuse. Je ne pouvais pas attendre pour y arriver, mais quand je suis sorti de l'autobus une vent    supere grand est venu. Je ne savais pas que ça allait être à l'extérieur afin vent! On aurait pu penser que c'était du vent chaud, mais il avait du vent froid, et vous voulez savoir pourquoi? C'est parce que nous étions plus haute que nous l'étions à La Fortuna. Le lendemain, dans le matin, il faisait froid dehors mais pas trop froid. Alors nous avons un peu inquiets car nous allions tyrolienne, mais quand nous sommes arrivés là-bas, il a commencé à obtenir plus en plus chaud! Et c'était bien. La première chose que nous avons fait là-bas, c'était d'aller tyrolienne. C'était très amusant. Oh! Et aussi, j'ai rencontré cette fille de la Suède qui avait 9 en tyrolienne, elle était amusante. Les 2 dernières lignes zip, mon père est allé la tête la première, le style Superman, mais je suis allé la manière habituelle parce que j'étais trop léger. Et la dernière chose que nous avons fait à l'endroit était le plus amusant pour moi, c'était le swing Tarzan. D'abord ils ont mis votre équipement, alors vous devez traverser un pont branlant tout le chemin jusqu'à la fin, eh bien, tout le chemin vers le bord. C'était très effrayant. J'ai pris quelques respirations profondes pendant qu'ils mettaient sur ​​mon équipement. J'ai pris quelques respirations profondes couple de plus, et puis j'ai sauté!!! J'avais environ 50 mètres de haut, et j'avais l'intention de crier mais j'ai été trop choqué pour le faire! Mais à la seconde balançoire j’ai crié parce que c'était tellement amusant! Quand j'ai sauté senti exactement comme si j'avais été sauter d'une falaise! J'allais si vite. Et j'ai oublié de vous dire, l'endroit est appelé Aventura.

Llegamos en Monteverde después de un viaje en autobús sucio lleno de baches. Yo no podía esperar para llegar allí, pero cuando me bajé del autobús vino una ráfaga de viento. Yo no sabía que iba a estar fuera mucho viento! Usted podría haber pensado que se trataba de viento cálido pero era frío, viento y quieres saber por qué? Fue porque eran más altos de lo que eran en La Fortuna. Al día siguiente por la mañana hacía frío afuera, pero no demasiado fría. Así que un poco preocupado porque nos íbamos a ir tirolesa, pero cuando llegamos allí, empezó a llegar más y más caliente! Y eso era bueno. Lo primero que hicimos fue ir allí tirolesa. Eso fue muy divertido. Oh! Y también he conocido a una chica de Suecia, que tenía 9 años tirolesa, que fue muy divertido. Las últimas 2 líneas de zip, mi papá se fue de cabeza, al estilo de Superman, pero yo fui la forma habitual porque estaba demasiado clara. Y la última cosa que hicimos en el lugar era el más divertido para mí, fue el columpio de Tarzán. Primero pusieron su equipo, luego te tienes que cruzar un puente tambaleante todo el camino hasta el final, bueno, todo el camino hasta el borde. Fue muy aterrador. Tomé algunas respiraciones profundas antes de que se estaban poniendo en mi equipo. Me tomó un par de respiraciones más profundas, y luego salté!!!! Yo estaba a unos 50 metros de altura, y yo tenía la intención de gritar, pero yo estaba demasiado conmocionado para hacerlo! Pero en el segundo giro me gritó porque era muy divertido! Cuando salté se sentía exactamente como si estuviera saltando de un acantilado! Yo estaba bajando muy rápido. Y me olvidé de decirte el lugar se llama Aventura.

Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs

I arrived in la Fortuna very tired. As we were walking to the hotel we saw something really big, and you know what it was? It was a very big volcano. We knew there was going to be a volcano, but we did not know that it was going to be so close to us, and so big! So the second day we were there, we went for a hike up to the lava flow from the 1968 eruption. It was fun and there were lots of great views. After the hike we went to a place where it was very fun, it was the hot springs. The hot springs is a place where there are lots of pools that have natural water, and that is heated by the ground, and the ground is heated by the volcano! And we also had dinner there.

Je suis arrivé à la Fortuna très fatigué. Pendant que nous marchions à l'hôtel, nous avons vu quelque chose de vraiment grand, et tu c’est ces quoi? C'était un volcan très grand. Nous savions qu'il allait y avoir un volcan, mais nous ne savions pas qu'il allait être si proche de nous, et si grand! Ainsi, le deuxième jour nous étions là, nous avons fait une randonnée jusqu'à la coulée de lave de l'éruption de 1968. C'était amusant et il y avait beaucoup de belles vues. Après la randonnée, nous sommes allés à un endroit où il était très amusant, c'était les sources d'eau chaude. Les sources chaudes est un endroit où il ya beaucoup de piscines qui ont l'eau naturelle, et qui est chauffé par le sol, et le sol est chauffé par le volcan! Et nous avons aussi dîné là-bas.

Llegué a la Fortuna muy cansado. Mientras caminábamos hacia el hotel que vimos algo realmente grande, y ya sabes lo que era? Fue un volcán muy grande. Sabíamos que iba a ser un volcán, pero no sabíamos que iba a estar tan cerca de nosotros, y tan grande! Así que el segundo día que estuvimos allí, nos fuimos para una caminata hasta el río de lava de la erupción de 1968. Fue divertido y hay muchas de excelentes vistas. Después de la caminata nos fuimos a un lugar donde era muy divertido, era las aguas termales. El Hot Springs es un lugar donde hay muchas piscinas que contienen agua natural, y que es calentado por el suelo, y el suelo es calentado por el volcán! Y también tuvimos cena allí.

Proyecto ASIS

I arrived in a place called Projecto ASIS were there are lots of animals like baby monkeys and birds and other animals of Costa Rica, and those animals are not just taken, they are rescued by park rangers. The first day we had a tour and we gave them food. Then the second day we fed them again and cleaned their cages because they got really dirty. We also got Spanish classes in the morning and it was fun. Then after a couple days later we got the opportunity to give those baby monkeys a bath.  It was so cute to do! And the best part of it was that it was their first bath! But still after their bath they stank! Then the next day at the end of the day we had another opportunity to do something very cool, I got to go in the monkey’s cage! And it was not fun. I hated it. My dad said it was fun so I had to try it. So I did it. They started pulling my hair, biting my head, and they peed on my dad, they were awful that day!  But overall this was an awesome week!

 

Je suis arrivé dans un endroit appelé Projecto ASIS.  Il ya beaucoup d'animaux comme les bébés singes et d'oiseaux et d'autres animaux du Costa Rica, et les animaux ne sont pas seulement prises, ils sont secourus par les gardes du parc. Le premier jour nous avons visité et nous a donné de la nourriture. Ensuite, le deuxième jour, nous les nourrit encore et nettoyer leurs cages, car ils se sont vraiment sales. Nous avons également eu des cours d'espagnol le matin et c'était très amusant. Puis, après quelques jours plus tard nous avons eu l'occasion de donner à ces bébés singes une baingade. Il était si mignon à faire! Et la meilleure partie, c'était que c'était leur premier bain! Mais toujours après leur bain, ils puaient! Puis, le lendemain, à la fin de la journée, nous avons eu une autre occasion de faire quelque chose de très cool, je dois y aller dans la cage du singe! Et ce n'était pas amusant. Je détestais cela. Mon père m'a dit que c'était amusant et j'ai dû essayer. Donc je l'ai fait. Ils ont commencé à me tirer les cheveux, mordre ma tête, et ils ont fait pipi sur mon pere, ils étaient affreux ce jour-là! Mais dans l'ensemble ce fut une semaine extraordinaire!

 

Llegué a un lugar llamado Projecto ASIS se que hay un montón de animales como monos bebés, pájaros y otros animales de Costa Rica, y los animales no se toman justo, son rescatados por los guardaparques. El primer día nos dieron un tour y les dieron de comer. A continuación, el segundo día que les daba de comer de nuevo y limpiar sus jaulas porque se puso muy sucio. También nos dieron clases de español por la mañana y fue muy divertido. Luego, después de un par de días más tarde tuvimos la oportunidad de dar a los bebés monos un baño. Fue tan lindo que hacer! Y lo mejor de todo era que se trataba de su primer baño! Pero aún después de su baño que apestaba! Luego, al día siguiente, al final del día tuvimos otra oportunidad de hacer algo muy bueno, me tengo que ir en la jaula de los monos! Y no fue divertido. Yo lo odiaba. Mi papá dijo que era divertido, así que tuve que probarlo. Así que lo hice. Empezaron a tirar de mi cabello, morder mi cabeza, y orinó sobre mi papá, que era horrible ese día! Pero en general, fue una semana increíble!
